Wright achieved this feat in 2007 with the help of his friend, who talked to him and kept him alert during the entire duration of the call. The call started on November 18, 2007, and ended on November 20, 2007. During the call, Wright talked about various topics ranging from sports to science and technology. Wright's world record has not been broken yet and he continues to be recognized as the person with the longest phone call duration.
